Finding Ink for Screen Printing a T-Shirt

Finding Ink for Screen Printing a T-Shirt

Well finding ink for screen printing of a tshirt is quit a task. In this video you can learn where to find ink to screen print a t-shirt design on making your own t-shirt designs with screen printing.

"In this clip you are going to see what inks to buy for screen printing. Just get black and that's a good place to start. If you want to go ahead and go for the colors, just start off with your basics, blue, yellow and red and then you can mix other colors using these. You can mix any color you want out of those three colors. And then you can get some white also if you want to lighten up your colors. If you know you're going to be doing this a lot, you can get bulk jugs of this ink and like, black being the essential color, I would get a big jug of black ink first. But inks are pretty durable. Once you iron them on after you screen print them, they last a long time. This shirt if a least ten years old. I've worn it religiously. And that's how you pick out ink for screen printing."

How to Draw a T-Shirt Design for Screen Printing

How to Draw a T-Shirt Design for Screen Printing

Well I Think, one can learn fast by seeing and teaching then just reading and teaching, so here i am with series of videos to teach more actions on tshirt designing and printing....

In this video you can see how to sketch out your idea for screen printing?

"First just start drawing. It doesn't matter what you draw just as long as you keep drawing and just keep drawing ideas as fast as they come into your head and do them really fast and loose at first. And when you start getting closer to what you think is going to be your final idea, you can start drawing more precisely and developing it further. One thing you need to keep in mind is this is going to need to be a very graphic design because you're going to be cutting it out of newspaper and so you don't want it to be too complex and you can't have shading in this either, in this kind of screen printing.

The final sketch should be basically pieces, you should think of the pieces that you're going to have to cut out of the newspaper. This is probably the most important and time consuming part of screen printing. Your design determines the effectiveness of the screen print. You can't spend too much energy on this. It's very important. You'll find your own style as you go along, just keep working and you will find it. And this is how you sketch out an idea for screen printing."

How to make your own shirt torn

How to make your own shirt torn

Always looks at the evolving world of fashion in different visual concepts, some of them as emo junkie chic and a little less casual than usual.

Precisely in the middle between a casual look and developed a style that is ungainly, a mix of looking good while to see that we are creating an entire aesthetic.

Can be somewhat confusing at first, but if we see the pictures of Erin Wasson, acclaimed model, we realize that the ungainly style works really well (especially when they use women like her formidable forces).

If you want to bring a jacket as sprawl can do this yourself tearing your shirt (or dress if you decide to look closer to Erin).

The process is simple and gives the garment you choose an ultra-chic air:

1) Be sure to choose a garment of good material, and thread widths that allow tearing of the garment is very accurate.

2) Cut with scissors curved edge of your garment (the seams of closure) to the edge of the waistband of your polo / shirt / jacket.

3) Using a pencil or fine tip of a needle pulling thread starts of the garment so slowly that you need to see what size holes.

4) Once you have removed several threads of the garment can use your fingers to create larger holes in the garment.

5) Follow the same process on all sides of the garment you want to have that effect.

Custom Printed T-Shirts - Design tshirt - t shirt Screen Printing

Custom Printed T-Shirts - Design tshirt - t shirt Screen Printing

Well a little browsing through my favorites I met this wonderful link melissaclifton.com helping us to create our own shirts from 0, I mean an image from any Internet to its printing process, in this case ink for textiles . But with the permission of the author to translate and I will make my own shirt with a picture of a famous singer.

Part One: Create the image on the computer.

Material:

- Image or photograph.
- Adobe Photoshop.

Steps:

1. Wanted image for the shirt. In this case take a my head.

2. I open the image in Photoshop and give it an appropriate threshold, take into account that I'm going to do on a black shirt and white are the parts that are cut and then fill in that color.

3. Voy Gaussian blur filter to the menu and give it a low value for not much noticed the edges, quiet in the next step would remove more detail.

4. In the next step I will play with the curves tool (image-> Settings-> curves) to diminish the image and detail to make it more "mass".

5. Finally (own recipe) are going to paint with a brush with black, in this case the parties do not want to appear on our shirts and we should get something like this:

Part Two: Cut and paint

Material:

- Card A4 or south end can be worth a folio.
- Blade (not cutter): Sales at hardware stores or craft, such as that used tanks mounted small.
- Paper A4 onion: the thicker the better, sold in stationery stores.
- Boats Special Textile Color: I use the Setacolor worth 3.5 euros in crafts stores. (For cotton)
- Tape
- Brush with the tip or failing broadband roll (the latter I have not tested)
- 100% cotton T-shirt

Steps:

Note: We will use the image of reference sites for the artist besides being more beautiful than my careto you will be clearer.

1. Print the image on the card (or sheet) set to A4 size you want.

2. We onion A4 paper on the image and paste it firmly on the table with the tape.

3. With the blade began to create the template cutting areas that are going to paint. (We recommend doing so on a cut surface or on special glass).

4. At the end of cutting (more laborious process) and we have the staff, we extend the shirt on a table and paste in the area you want the image of onion paper, take note that you must put the shirt inside cardboard previous something to print or not to drain the ink on the other side. It is recommended that at least a shirt to wash it will bring the starch factory.

5. We started to apply the color with the brush or roller tip open. With the brush vertically do so as if you were acuchillando shirt. you not to run for the incoming court. Want to apply as many layers you shall see that the color is quite strong.

6. Despegais the template of the shirt with great care not to run because the ink and you have your shirt ready for fardar with your friends.

That's how I've done some more:

Design your own T-shirt - Design Your Own Robot

Design your own T-shirt - Design Your Own Robot

I saw this shirt in another blog defined as the perfect shirt for girls geek (or, for me xD) Rauda so fast and I went to visit his website. But the truth is that the shirt Paint Your Own Robot (ie "Paint your own robot") is sold only in sizes for children 5 years I was a little disappointed.

However, the idea seems ingenious: a white T-shirt with the drawing of a robot that kids can decorate to your liking with the set of eight special fabric paints and brush with it. But I you I would look around while the child is not just more paint off the inside that shirt.
